Legislative Elections 2024: Proxy Voting Key Information for Civil Servants

Civil servants registered as voters in Rodrigues or Agalega but currently stationed in Mauritius, as well as those registered in Mauritius and working in Rodrigues or Agalega, are eligible to vote by proxy for the upcoming legislative elections.

This announcement was made by the office of the Electoral Commissioner.

Civil servants wishing to utilize this option can obtain the necessary forms from the Electoral Commission’s sub-office located in Port Mathurin, Rodrigues.

It is crucial for voters to understand that the completed and signed form must be submitted to the Electoral Commissioner’s office by 4 PM on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the latest.
