In response to allegations concerning the leaking of examination questionnaires for the National Certificate of Education (NCE), Education Minister Leela Devi Dookun-Luchoomun has condemned the insinuations, stating, “It is irresponsible to cast doubt in the minds of students and parents.”

The issue was raised by Navin Ramgoolam during a meeting of the Alliance for Change in Triolet on Sunday, September 22.

He questioned, “Are you aware that ministry inspectors are going into schools and instructing them on how to handle these questions?”

In a statement made to RadioPlus on the afternoon of Monday, September 23, Minister Dookun-Luchoomun expressed her confidence in the security measures implemented by the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate (MES).

Furthermore, she urged Navin Ramgoolam to file a formal complaint with the police regarding his allegations.
