Lost in Sept-Cascades, 4 French Tourists Rescued by Fire Service
On Saturday, September 22, four French nationals, aged between 18 and 28, went hiking at the Sept-Cascades in Mauritius. The group lost their way around 11 a.m., approximately 30 meters beyond the last waterfall.
The local Fire and Rescue Service (MFRS) launched a search operation to locate the missing hikers.
After several hours of searching, the team successfully found the tourists around 9 p.m. Fortunately, they were unharmed and in good health.
Following their rescue, the group declined any medical assistance and made their way back to their hotel in Tamarin.
