Traffic Disruptions Anticipated Due to La Vigie Overpass Construction

Construction of an overpass is set to begin today, Wednesday, September 18, on the M1 highway at La Vigie. The project, conducted by General Construction Co Ltd, is expected to last approximately four months.

To ensure the safety of road users throughout the construction period, a new traffic plan will be implemented on the affected section of the highway.

In addition to installing signage to inform drivers of the changes, police officers will be present on-site to assist and guide motorists as needed.

Drivers are advised to be cautious and allow extra time for their journeys during this period of construction.
