Road Safety: An Alarming Rise in Fatal Accidents

Road safety continues to be a significant concern as the number of fatal accidents rises year after year. In 2023, the country recorded 97 fatal accidents, resulting in 102 deaths.

However, by the end of September 2024, the situation has not improved, with 82 fatal accidents reported and 87 victims.

According to statistics released by the police, January experienced the highest number of accidents.

Current trends indicated that, on average, the country is facing at least ten fatal accidents each month.

This alarming pattern is highlighting the urgent need for enhanced road safety measures to protect citizens and reduce the increasing toll on lives.
