Larsen & Toubro, a prominent engineering and construction company, has categorically refuted rumors suggesting that it plans to cease operations in Mauritius. Recent reports hinted that the company was contemplating ending its activities in the country.

However, in a statement released on Thursday, September 5, Larsen & Toubro firmly declared, “Larsen & Toubro is not winding up operations in Mauritius.”

The company clarified that the recent auction of used equipment was a routine procedure typically undertaken at the conclusion of a project, and that these actions had been misinterpreted.

Highlighting their recent completion of the Sir Aneerood Jugnauth Hospital, the firm emphasized its commitment to fulfilling its contractual obligations in Mauritius.

Larsen & Toubro expressed its determination to maintain strong relationships with its partners and to continue contributing to the advancement of the nation.
