Mauritius Ambassador Presents Credentials to Turkmenistan’s Mejlis Chairperson
The Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, recently received the credentials from Kheswar Jankee, the new Ambassador of Mauritius to Turkmenistan, who is based in Moscow.
During the meeting, Gulmanova extended her congratulations to Ambassador Jankee on his appointment, expressing her hopes for success in his efforts to foster the development of friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Mauritius.
Ambassador Jankee conveyed his gratitude towards the Turkmen government for their warm hospitality and relayed greetings from the President of Mauritius, Prithvirajsing Roopun, to Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
In his remarks, Jankee wished for peace and prosperity for the people of Turkmenistan.
The Ambassador emphasized his honor in representing Mauritius in Turkmenistan and expressed a strong commitment to advancing bilateral relations.
He was also briefed on the key aspects of Turkmenistan’s internal and foreign policy, including insights into the operation of the Turkmen Parliament.
Concluding the meeting, Ambassador Kheswar Jankee assured the Chairperson that he would dedicate his efforts to strengthening the friendship between the two nations.
