Police Force: Pravind Jugnauth Announces New Risk Compensation Scheme

Prime Minister has announced a new “Risk Compensation Scheme” aimed at providing support to the families of police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

This announcement was made during a promotion ceremony for the police force that took place on the morning of Saturday, August 24, at the Gymkhana in Vacoas.

During his address, the Prime Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring the safety of both the public and law enforcement personnel.

“We will do everything possible to prevent criminals from acting,” he stated, reinforcing the determination to combat crime.
