Domino’s Pizza Expands to Plaisance Shopping Village
Domino’s Pizza is continuing its growth in Mauritius by opening its first outlet in the southern region of the island, located at Plaisance Shopping Village in Rose-Belle. This marked the seventh location for the popular fast-food chain, which has successfully captured the hearts of Mauritians since its debut in 2018.
The other branches are situated in Beau-Bassin, Curepipe, Grand-Baie, Port-Louis, Quatre-Bornes, and Trianon.
The new branch aiming to provide even more Mauritians access to freshly prepared pizzas at affordable prices, creating memorable dining experiences for both large and small gatherings.
In addition, Domino’s is committed to engaging with local non-governmental organizations (NGOs) by hosting pizza-making workshops and is collaborating with Foodwise through its ‘Slice of Happiness’ initiative.
This program is focusing on distributing surplus pizza ingredients to minimize food waste.
Kareesh Manraj, the Chief Operating Officer for the Quick Service Restaurant cluster at Rogers Hospitality, expressed enthusiasm for the new opening.
“We are extremely proud to expand our presence across Mauritius with the inauguration of our first restaurant at Plaisance Shopping Village.
With over 50 years of expertise in the industry, Domino’s Pizza guarantees delicious and freshly made pizzas.
We look forward to serving the Rose-Belle community and continuing our growth together,” he stated.
As part of this expansion, Domino’s Pizza has hired a team of around ten local employees, bringing the total number of full-time staff across the brand in Mauritius to nearly one hundred, along with approximately thirty part-time employees.
