2.5-Meter Swells: Rough Seas, Stay Ashore

The sea is currently experiencing rough conditions beyond the reefs, with swells from the southwest reaching approximately 2.5 meters. As a result, trips to open waters, as well as activities in the lagoons of the western and southern regions, are not recommended.

This information was highlighted in a bulletin issued by the local weather station this morning, July 31.

In contrast to the turbulent seas, a light breeze is blowing across the region, with predictions of sunny weather throughout the day.

The maximum temperature is expected to be around 2 degrees Celsius above the average, with readings between 21 and 24 degrees Celsius on the central plateau, and 27 to 29 degrees Celsius along the coast.

As night falls, the sky is expected to remain clear. Minimum temperatures will range from 13 to 16 degrees Celsius on the central plateau, while coastal areas will see temperatures between 18 and 21 degrees Celsius.

Winds will be coming from the southeast at around 15 km/h, becoming lighter and more variable as night sets in.
