Jyoti Jeetun: 8-Year CEO Joins PTr/MMM/ND Alliance

In a confirmation made by Paul Bérenger, leader of the Movement Mauricien Militant (MMM), to Radio Plus on Tuesday afternoon, July 16, Jyoti Jeetun, former CEO of Mont-Choisy group, will be contesting the upcoming elections under the banner of the PTr/MMM/ND alliance.

The decision to accept Jeetun’s membership was approved by the MMM’s political bureau yesterday, July 15.

The decision will need to be ratified by the MMM’s Central Committee this Saturday, according to Bérenger.

Notably, this development came after Jeetun announced his departure from Mont-Choisy Group, bringing an end to his eight-year tenure as Group CEO.

In a statement, Jeetun cited a desire to pursue new horizons as the reason for her departure.

Jeetun’s decision to join the PTr/MMM/ND alliance was also discussed with Navin Ramgoolam, leader of the alliance, prior to her confirmation.
