Water Authority Reports Completion of Historic Pipeline Replacement Project

In a press conference held this morning, July 12, Prakash Maunthrooa, Director General of the Central Water Authority (CWA), announced that since January 2023, a total of 291 kilometers of pipes have been replaced by CWA employees.

The replacement project, which has been underway for several months, has cost a significant 350 million rupees.

According to Maunthrooa, the massive undertaking is considered historic in the history of the water authority.

The director general emphasized that the project aimed to ensure the integrity and reliability of the water supply system, which serves millions of people across the region.
