Hyper Market Lolo Acquires Guy Desmarais Training Center

In a major development, the Mauritius Turf Club (MTC) has approved the sale of the Guy Desmarais training center to Lolo Hyper Marché. The extraordinary general assembly meeting was held on Thursday, July 11, at the MTC’s headquarters on Eugène Laurent Street, Port-Louis.

The proceeds from the sale will be used to settle the club’s debts, replenish its coffers, and update its pension fund for former employees.

This move will also enable the club to better prepare for a potential return to hosting horse racing events in 2024.
