Swiss Ambassador bids farewell to Mauritius, calls for closer collaboration

Outgoing Swiss Ambassador to Mauritius, Dr Nicolas Brühl, bid farewell to PM Pravind Jugnauth on May 25.

During his three-year tenure, Dr Brühl served as the Non-Resident Ambassador based in Pretoria, South Africa.

Dr Brühl expressed regret over the COVID-19 pandemic preventing him from returning for over two years.

The discussions between the Prime Minister and the Ambassador focused on enhancing cooperation between Switzerland and Mauritius in various sectors, including Med tech, Fintech, and infrastructure.

The envoy emphasised the importance of Switzerland actively and closely collaborating with Mauritius to strengthen bilateral relations.
