Mauritius Police Commissioner in India to take delivery of helicopter

The Commissioner of Police of Mauritius, Anil Kumar Dip, has taken delivery of an Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) during a symbolic event in Bengaluru, India.

Speaking at the event, Commissioner Dip said that the induction of ALH Mk III helicopter will enhance the aerial capabilities of Mauritius Police. 

“The helicopter will contribute immensely in ensuring the territorial integrity and enhancing the speed and effectiveness of the police intervention during critical incidents and disasters”, he was quoted as saying.

The Mauritian Government had signed a contract for one ALH Mk III with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in January 2022.
