Mauritius agency sets deadline for submission of tax returns

The Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA) has warned that the deadline for the submission of Corporate Tax Returns and payment of taxes by companies whose accounting year ended in June 2022 is today 28 December, 2022.

The December 28, 2022 deadline is also applicable for the submission of returns and payment of taxes for the month of November 2022 for VAT (Value Added Tax), PAYE (Pay As You Earn), TDS (Tax Deduction at Source), and social security contributions (CSG/NSF and Levy).

Companies that are not subject to tax will have until 16 January 2023 to file their returns.
