Coming up: Tribeca Central Shopping Mall in Mauritius’ business district

The construction of Tribeca Central, located in Trianon, is well underway. This new Smart City, which will cover an area of 120 acres, is being developed by Hermes Properties Ltd around the concept of “Mall. Work. Stay” concept.

Located across from the Ebene Cyber City and along the M1 and M3 highways, Tribeca Central intends to be a destination for business, shopping, socializing and relaxation.

The construction of the new flyover related to the Ebene Link Road project is also in full swing.

Phase 1 of the project is said to be nearing completion: it will include a shopping mall with more than 200 stores, a hypermarket, an entertainment area, two office buildings, 3,500 parking spaces and a business hotel, named SOCIO Mauritius by The Lux Collective, which will have 225 rooms.

With cafes, bars, fast food outlets and fine restaurants, Tribeca Central will also host fitness stores, a spa as well as a 10-lane bowling alley.

This large-scale project, costing Rs 25 billion, is being handled by the Beijing Construction Engineering Group (BCEG).
