Two Mauritian fine dining restaurants rank among Africa’s Top 10

Two Mauritian fine dining restaurants have ranked among the top 10 in Africa, according to TripAdvisor, the largest travel review platform in the world. 

In their Traveler’s Choice Award of 2022, the platform placed LUX Grand Gaube’s INTI Peruvian Restaurant as the second-best restaurant on the continent.

Customers left positive reviews on the establishment, highlighting its “fantastic experience” and “amazing experience,” as well as the high-quality service offered. 

La Colombe Restaurant in the South African city of Constantia led the ranking as the best establishment in Africa.

Hasu Restaurant at Long Beach Belle Mare came seventh with customer reviews praising its “pure deliciousness” and “Best Japanese food in Mauritius”.

Has Restaurant, Belle Bare

Morocco’s L’Amandier Palais Faraj in Fez and Casa Lalla Restaurant in Marrakech came third and fourth respectively. Another Moroccan restaurant , L’O A La Bouche Restaurant in Marrakech, ranked as the fifth-best dining spot in Africa.

South African restaurants Reverie Social Table and La Petite Colombe and Tanzania’s Island Pongwe Lodge Restaurant closed the top 10 ranking.
