B28 Road at Vieux Grand Port to be closed for four months

The Road Development Authority has announced that road works will be undertaken by the Road Development Authority along the Flacq – Mahebourg (B28) Road at Vieux Grand Port.

Accordingly, the B28 Road will be closed to traffic in both directions, for a period of four (4) months with effect from 29 August 2022. Traffic will be diverted alternately on a single lane diversion road controlled by Traffic Lights.

In a notice just issued, the Ministry of Land Transport and Light Rail said the necessary traffic signs will be set up to inform and guide road users.

Drivers are advised to exercise caution when approaching the works area and to drive within the prevailing speed limit.
