Mauritius Bourse back in the green, closes in positive territory

The main indices of the local market closed the week in positive territory. The SEMDEX closed the session of Tuesday Aug 23 by registering a gain of 0.53%.

The top five trading securities during the week were MCB, CM Diversified Credit Ltd, Lux Island resorts, Phoenix Beverages and Promotion and Development Ltd.

The top five gainers were BlueLife Ltd (+10.26%), New Mauritius Hotels (+8.54%), Fincorp Investment (+8.31%), Caudan Development (+5.26%) and Lux Island Resorts (+4.70%).

The worst performers were NewGold (-4.67%), Ascencia (-4.46%), POLICY (-3.55%), SBM Holdings (-2.70%) and Phoenix Beverages )-1.19%).
