Mauritius to promulgate new Securities rules

The Securities (Collective Investment Schemes and Closed-end Funds) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 will be promulgated.

The Securities Act was amended in 2021 with respect to Investment Funds.

According to latest Cabinet papers, the new amendments will cater for an appropriate regulatory framework to allow other securities exchanges as well as clearing and settlement facilities to operate in Mauritius.
