Top textile delegation from Madagascar on official visit to Mauritius

A delegation comprising Malagasy government officials and entrepreneurs engaged in the textile/clothing sectors will be on an official visit to Mauritius from June 15 to 17, 2022.

The delegation will be led by Gaëtan Ramindo, Director General of Industrial Development at the Ministry of Trade and Consumption, and will meet with several ministries, embassies and private sector institutions.

The delegation also plans to design a common strategy to attract buyers by offering the region as a single supply destination.

The delegates will also reflect on the main areas of collaboration to implement joint projects.

Exchanges on best practices and policies between the textile sectors of the two countries will also be on the agenda.
