Emirates signs MoU to promote Mauritian Tourism
Emirates Airlines has reaffirmed its partnership with Mauritius by signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Mauritius Tourism Development Authority (MTPA).
The current agreement builds an existing partnership between the two sides to promote tourism in Mauritius from key markets through Emirates Airlines’ global network.
The agreement was signed late this week at the Arabian Travel Market (Forum 2022) by Senior VP Business Operations and Arvind Bunton, Director, MTPA.
The signature was held in the presence of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airlines and Group and Ahmed Ahmed Gauri, Emirates Director for West Asia and Indian Ocean.
Ahmed Gauri said: “Emirates has a long-standing and fruitful partnership with Mauritius, and renewing and strengthening this partnership is a testament to our commitment to promoting tourism and resuming joint efforts, especially in easing international borders. To facilitate summer travel, we will operate a second flight daily from June 23rd.”
