The Ministry of Health and Health Minister Dr Kailesh Jagutpal have been held responsible for the death of Dominique Adrien Madron, Le Mauricien newspaper reported.

In a case just lodged before the Supreme Court, the victim’s sister and mother said the
young man died after being inoculated with a COVID-19 Astra Zeneca booster dose.

According to the newspaper, Madron, 31, had first been inoculated with Johnson and Johnson. The victim worked as butler at the Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa.

According to the family, Dominique Adrien Madron was then allegedly “forced” to be jabbed with a ‘booster dose’ – else, he would be refused access to his place of work.

COVID-19 regulations insist that only those who are “fully vaccinated” are authorised to go to work.

The family is suing Minister Jagutpal, the Ministry of Health and Wellness, the Attorney General and Morning Light Co Ltd (owner of Hilton) for Rs8.95million.
