New envoy of Czech Republic presents his credentials to the President

The Ambassador-designate of the Czech Republic to Mauritius, Mr Pavel Řezáč, presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Mauritius, Mr Prithvirajsing Roopun, at the State House in Réduit.

In a statement after the meeting, the Ambassador-designate highlighted that discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations between the Czech Republic and Mauritius. He also emphasised that he will strive to build multilateral relations between Mauritius and other agencies. 

Mr Pavel Řezáč is a career diplomat in the foreign service for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, with residence in Pretoria, South Africa.

He joined the diplomatic service in 1985 and served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to several countries including Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, the Democratic of Republic of Timor-Leste, Republic of Tanzania, Republic of Botswana, and South Africa.
