Mauritius launches tenders for 140MW of solar-plus-storage

The Central Electricity Board (CEB) has issued two tenders for the deployment of a total of 140MW of solar-plus-storage capacity.

First, it has invited bids from prospective bidders for the Purchase of Electrical Energy from Small Scale Renewable Energy Hybrid Facilities.

The authority has also invited bids for the purchase of Electrical Energy from Renewable Energy Hybrid Facilities (Solar PV + Battery Storage).

The CEB intends to accommodate 140 MW +/-10% of Renewable Energy Hybrid Facilities from the two procurement exercises.
