Mauritius President issues list of recipients of National Day Awards
The list of those to be decorated by the Republic of Mauritius on the occasion of the National Day is out.
Citing the official list of awardees, Defi Media reported that the following persons will be raised to the rank of ‘Grand Commander of the Order of the Star and the Key of the Indian Ocean (GCSK):
American lawyer Paul Reichler, who represented Mauritius before the International Court of Justice in the Chagos case, former judge Dheerujlall Seetulsingh and Ranapartab Tacouri, a Director at SBM Bank (Mauritius) Ltd.
The recipients of the Grand Officer of the Order of the Order of the Star and the Key of the Indian Ocean (GOSK) are: Ex-judge Gérard Angoh, the president of the Redundancy Board, Mr Rashid Hossen, the Commissioner of Police Anil Kumar Dip, Suttyhudeo Tengur, president of the Association for the protection of the environment and consumers (APEC) and musician Eric Triton.
