‘Abducted’ girl found but… police give her back to non-custodial mother
A two-year-old girl who was allegedly abducted by her non-custodial mother has been found, according to Defi Media.
Nevertheless, the newspaper said the girl has been given back to the mother, even if she is the suspect in the alleged abduction.
After being quizzed by police in the absence of her lawyer, the woman was reportedly allowed to leave…with the girl again.
This unexpected development is allegedly contrary to the divorce decree, stormed the father, who insists that a document from the Family Court gives him the custody of the little girl.
“I showed them the Court document. But they still gave the child to the mother again. I’m at a loss. I don’t know what’s going on,” said the confused father.
Defi Media said he intends to go to Court again to clarify the issue. The mother reportedly refused to comment.
