Mauritius bourse to launch new trading platform in April

The Stock Exchange of Mauritius is going live on 08 April 2022 with a new trading system, developed by Securities and Trading Technology (STT), a provider of financial market solutions and software-enabled services.

In a communique published on its website, the SEM said with the newly formed long-term partnership, both teams are in progress to have the new trading system live along with a new mySEM app, as a high-end Progressive Web App accessible on any platform using a standard compliant browser.

On another matter, trading, clearing and settlement on SEM and CDS – which were suspended during to cyclone Batsirai – is expected to resume on Friday 4 February 2022.
