Rs200,000 per meeting for Central Bank Governor

Bank of Mauritius Governor Harvesh Seegolam reportedly pocketed Rs600,000 for attending three meetings of the Monetary Policy Committee. (Rs200,000 per meeting). 

Sunday Times newspaper  claimed that the latter bagged an annual salary of more than Rs11.5million.

Other members of the MPC bagged Rs120,000 per meeting.
