Mauritius Pavilion at Expo 2020 logs 10,000 daily visitors

The Mauritius pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai has recorded 10,000 visitors in one day for the first time.

In addition to welcoming tourists, commercial traveller numbers are said to also be up after the launch of a new 10-year working visas for people looking for work or to start a new business.

From 4-9 December, the Mauritius Pavilion will be hosting a ‘Finance & Investment Week’, which will see sessions on a range of topics, from why Mauritius is the ideal destination in which to do business, to private banking and wealth management, to private equity and fund management, as well as the importance of Fintech.

The calendar includes Tourism Week (11-January 2022), ICT & Innovation Business Forum (10-11 January 2022), Logistics & Freeport Week (20-23 February 2022), National Day Celebrations & National Week (15-19 March 2022) and Thematic Water Week (20-26 March 2022) among others.
