Business Mauritius defends latest COVID restrictions
Business Mauritius has come out to defend recent COVID-19 restrictions, arguing on the need to find a balance between economy, social life and health.
“This balance should allow us to continue working and socializing while reducing the current pressure on our health services,” Business Mauritius said, while urging the population to “maintain barrier gestures and, above all, respect new health regulations.”
Business Mauritius, which represents more than 1,200 local businesses, has told its members to adopt the protocols that the association has put in place in order to ensure business continuity, including work-from-home.
“We all have the duty, the responsibility, the opportunity and the power to break the chain of transmission by showing individual responsibility in this collective fight,” it said.
