Mauritius remains in Abu Dhabi's green list, despite COVID-19 surge

Abu Dhabi has updated its ‘green list’ of destinations to 95 in total, according to the latest update issued by the Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism.

Effective Sunday, November 7, Mauritius stays in the list, despite the surge of COVID-19 Delta variant, which has reportedly claimed dozens of lives over the past weeks.

All travellers arriving from Mauritius (vaccinated and unvaccinated) will be exempt from quarantine measures after landing in Abu Dhabi.

They will be required to present a negative PCR COVID-19 test result, valid for a maximum of 48 hours before departure and undergo a PCR test upon arrival at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

In September, the emirate scrapped the quarantine requirement for all vaccinated travellers arriving into Abu Dhabi from all international destinations.
