Business Mauritius calls for 'solidarity and responsibility'

“It is by showing solidarity and responsibility that the country will succeed in containing the coronavirus.”

This is what Business Mauritius, which represents more than 1,200 Mauritian companies, has been quoted as saying in Defi Media.

The entity has reiterated its support towards authorities in the fight against the COVID-19 as the reopening of the borders, scheduled for October 1, gets closer.

It maintained that vaccination against the coronavirus and strict compliance regarding barrier gestures are now part of the “only ramparts” we have against the virus.

“We firmly believe that the population has a leading role to play in ensuring the success of this crucial stage in the economic recovery.”
