Mauritius Rupee up by 1.78% against USD

The USDMUR increased 0.7500 or 1.78% to 42.9000 on September 15 from 42.15 in the previous trading session.
The Bank of Mauritius intervened on the domestic foreign exchange market on September 10 and sold a total amount of USD25.0 million at the rate of Rs42.30/USD.
The Mauritian Rupee is expected to trade at 42.50 by the end of this quarter, according to Trading Economics global macro models and analysts expectations. Looking forward, it is estimated to trade at 43.58 in 12 months time.

Historically, the Mauritian Rupee reached an all time high of 43.08 in July of 2021.
