Top jockey dies in race fall

Dual South African apprentice champion and reigning champion jockey in Mauritius, Nooresh Juglall has died following a race fall, l’Express and Week- End reported.

Juglall was riding in his third and final race of the first meeting for the Rousset stableat Champ de Mars racecourse when his mount Rule The Night crashed at the 300m mark.

Rushed to hospital, Juglall was put on life support, but died a few hours later, two months shy of his 30th birthday.
