New boss takes office at Mauritius branch of French Development Agency

Laetitia Habchi is the new director of the Mauritius branch of the French Development Agency (AFD).

Trained in finance and political science, Habchi has been working in the field of international development for more than 25 years.

Laetitia Habchi has been an officer at Agence Française de Développement since 1995. From 2010 to 2013, she was seconded to DBSA (Development Bank of Southern Africa), prior to becoming Head of the Infrastructure Desk at NEPAD Business Foundation in South Africa in 2014.

Prior to her appointment, she was responsible for the deployment of AFD’s new Social Link strategy.

Laetitia Habchi succeeds André Pouillès-Duplaix.
