Labour Party leader Dr Ramgoolam admitted to hospital

Labour Party’s Dr Navin Ramgoolam is reportedly admitted at the Welkin Hospital over abdominal pain.

According to media reports, Dr Ramgoolam’s health is stable.

He was meant to meet the leaders of other opposition parties on Tuesday to discuss a common peaceful demonstration to demand the resignation of PM Pravind Jugnauth.

The meeting is yet to be held.

Last year, Dr Navin Ramgoolam was tested positive for COVID-19 and to be flown out to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for treatment.
