Mauritius Cardinal and Vicar General tested positive for COVID-19

Mauritius Cardinal Maurice Piat and Vicar General Father Jean Maurice Labor have reportedly been tested positive for COVID-19.

This was disclosed by the Diocese of Port Louis in a press release

“The latter are slightly affected and their condition does not currently inspire concern,” it read.

“They are following prescribed rest and treatment and remaining in isolation.”
