FSC website impersonated by fake regulator of non-bank financial services

An entity by the name of Financial Control Service Grenada has impersonated the website of the Mauritius Financial Services Commission (FSC).

“It is allegedly claiming on its website (https://rocgov.org/) to be the regulator of the non-bank financial services sector and global business on the island,” the FSC has warned.

The FSC has further cautioned that Financial Control Service Grenada “and/or any other individuals or representatives or promoter groups operating under this name are not related to the FSC.”

The FSC has reportedly brought this matter to the attention of local and Grenadian authorities.

The public has been advised to exercise caution in their dealing with Financial Control Service Grenada.
