Repatriation flights from SA to Mauritius: What you need to know

The Mauritius High Commission in Pretoria has issued a statement on the health protocols to be met in order to be eligible for repatriation from South Africa.

Passengers must present a negative PCR test within three days before, will be subject to a mandatory PCR test before boarding, seven days in a quarantine centre for “fully vaccinated” followed by seven days of isolation.

Repatriation flights from SA to Mauritius: What you need to know

The unvaccinated will need to remain in quarantine for 14 days, among other requirements.

The Mauritian government has closed its borders with South Africa since news erupted on the presence of the Omicron variant.

The first repatriation flights lands in Mauritius this Sunday.
