PM's Ex-adviser is Super CEO of eight government companies

Ken Arian, ex-PMO senior adviser, now Chief Executive of Airport Holdings Ltd, is also the boss of the entities of its subsidiaries, including Air Mauritius, Airports of Mauritius Ltd, Airport Terminal Operations Ltd and Mauritius Duty Free Paradise as well as Rodrigues Duty Free Paradise Co Ltd and Pointe Cotton Resort Hotel Co Ltd.

This is what Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth revealed in Parliament to a question by Labour MP, Rajesh Bhagwan.

Jugnauth also said his office employs 14 advisers. Of these, four are “volunteers” – they are not remunerated. They include Mavendra (Sherry) Singh – CEO at Mauritius Telecom and Dr Zuberr Joomaye (COVID-19 High-Level and Vaccination committees).
