Island's Secret Police to be beefed up

The National Security Service, a police department responsible to gather intelligence for State security but often tagged as being subservient to the political power of the day, will reportedly soon undergo a complete overhaul. 

New strategies, equipment and technologies are being contemplated to enhance its operations.

The NSS operates under the Prime Minister’s Office employs 150 officers posted around the island.
