Some twenty people died of the coronavirus from 8-14 October and there were only 451 active cases during this period, according to official figures.
Out of the 451 active cases, authorities said 31 were admitted at New ENT Hospital including five on ventilators.
However, according to figures published by Worldometer, some 926 cases were recorded from October 1-15.
The highest increase in the number of cases were recorded in August (6,763) as compared to 5,019 new cases in September.
As at 13 October 2021, 831,918 persons had been fully vaccinated (65.7%).
10,968 adults had received a booster dose while 20,124 adolescents aged between 15 to 17 years had received a first dose.
