Seven challenge Covid-19 restrictions at public places

Seven people are challenging the regulations imposed by the Government of Mauritius denying unvaccinated people access to several public places.

The new regulations, in force since October 1, make public places like restaurants, gyms, cinemas, schools, police stations, amongst others, out of bounds to those who have not been inoculated.

The protesters are against the vaccination “pass”. The case will be called on October 28, 2021 before the Supreme Court.
