Le Mauricien newspaper reported that the airline is also undertaking a “restructuring of its shareholding” and is seeking the approvals of the regulatory authorities.

To this effect, it has made a request to the SEM to maintain the suspension of dealings in its shares until the close of business on 22 October 2021.

The SEM has approved the request. The dealing in the shares of Air Mauritius were suspended after it was placed under voluntary administration on 22 April 2020.

Hence, dealings in the shares of the national airline will resume on Monday 25 October 2021, the Stock Exchange of Mauritius (SEM) has told the airline’s shareholders and investors.
