Residents of Quatre Bornes are warned: The second phase of the Metro Express project will start in Quatre-Bornes with major work kicking off as from this Thursday along the Saint-Jean road, the cemetery and the Saint-Jean roundabout.

According to Le Mauricien newspaper, vehicles heading towards Port-Louis will no longer be able to turn directly onto Avenue des Tulipes, but first take the Saint-Jean roundabout and then head towards the road or La Louise / Candos.

Additionally, the access road to Rose-Hill, along the Saint-Jean cemetery, will be open to traffic.

Motorists are warned to exercise caution near these areas.
