Party too loud, get tapped on the fingers

A new set of laws to regulate noise pollution is reportedly being drafted by the State Law Office.

This was announced by the Minister of Environment, Solid Waste Management and Climate Change, Mr. Kavi Ramano who was speaking at a workshop organized by his ministry and the Media Trust.

He explained that many owners of bungalows and villas are renting their premises for birthdays, weddings, receptions and other parties – and allowing guests to play loud music throughout the night.
