1,882 complaints filed against banks, insurance companies

Latest figures released by the Ombudsperson for Financial Services reveal that 1,882 complaints have been filed against banks and insurance companies since 2019, out of which some 1,059 have been resolved.

Defi Media reported that the number of complaints related to the banking sector has been decreasing over the years: 254 in 2019, 152 in 2020 and 71 from Jan 2021 to date.
