The story is spreading like wild fire in the local and international sports circuits.

Several employees of the Mauritius Football Association have been reportedly been summoned by police after an employee said she had discovered a mobile phone in video recording mode hidden in the women’s toilets at the association’s headquarters.

According to a police complaint filed by the administrative secretary Mila Sinnasamy, the mobile phone discovered on July 30 was concealed in a basket placed in the water tank of the women’s toilet at the MFA’s headquarters in Trianon.

The facilities are used by several teams, including under-17 girls.

The story has been picked up by the UK’s The Guardian.
